Our Story
A family learning to follow Jesus — together.
We are not a large established organization. We are a family taking faithful steps in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
The Hopper Family on Mission grew out of years of ordinary, faithful work: coaching kids in youth sports, serving in student ministry, leading church camps, mentoring athletes, and helping families in our own community.
Somewhere along the way it stopped feeling like something we did on the side. We began to sense a call to put ministry in the middle of our family life — to serve together, travel together, and open our home as part of following Jesus.
"We do not just want to inspire people for a moment. We want to help form habits, character, faith, relationships, and lives that last."
That means coaching young athletes in a way that shapes their character, not just their stats. It means Audra baking for a family that just moved in, or hosting women in our home. It means saying yes when a church asks us to help lead a camp. It means loading the family up and going where God opens the door.
We do not have everything figured out. We are choosing to obey God, serve people, use what He has given us, and take the next faithful step.
Meet the family
Richard Hopper
Husband · Father · Coach · Mentor
Youth leader, sports coach, camp and recreation leader, speaker, and practical builder. Years of coaching kids, leading youth ministry, serving churches, and walking with athletes as they grow in skill, confidence, discipline, coachability, and character.
Audra Hopper
Wife · Mother · Baker · Hospitable Servant
Baker, nanny, creative, and emerging women's small-group leader. Her strengths are hospitality, baking, childcare, encouragement, and helping families feel known and welcomed.

Our three sons are part of the real journey — learning to follow Jesus, serve others, travel, and grow together as a family. They are not marketing; they are the fifth, sixth, and seventh members of this mission.
